What is Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream?
I’ll give you three guesses–and no, it’s not a choo-choo.
Okay fine–it’s a FIRMING EYE CREAM.
You dab it around the eye area and hope that a) it works, tightening and firming your wrinkled, sagging and baggy skin and b) it doesn’t cause your eyes to redden and uncontrollably weep. (I belong in the latter category. Just call me “Weeping Wanda.”)
It’s part of the Timewise® product line–which is specifically targeted towards the more “mature” of us. (Yep, “OLD.”) But people of all ages use Timewise® Firming Eye Cream–because let’s face it–it’s never too early to erase the signs of living that dare to show on our faces.
How does Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream work?
I would love to tell you that it contains ingredients that work below the skin surface, repairing damage from free radicals, lightening dark circles, tightening skin and improving collagen and elastin production–but the sad fact is this–
Mary Kay doesn’t give you any ingredient information on their website.
Nothing. Nada. Zip.
Just how we’re supposed to gauge the effectiveness of this–and all–their skin care products is beyond me.
I guess we’ll just believe the claims along with every other Mom, Nic and Clarry.

Consumer testimonials (taken from outside the bias official website–thank you very much) are mixed. Here’s a wee sampling…
“It doesn’t affect my sensitive eyes. It was just a normal cream for added moisture. For the price and ingredients, I would not buy again.”
“This is one of my favorite eye care products! I have been using this product since it came out and it has worked remarkably on me! I have allergies year-round and the firming eye cream definitely does it’s job! I am soooo glad I’m a consultant who has first dibs on the newest products!!! Give it a try and you will love it too!” (MARK–THIS ONE IS FROM A CONSULTANT. Sheesh.)
“I tried using this and was shocked that if I got sweaty (at the gym, beach, or whatever…), the stuff stung my eyes so badly that I’d end up running for a wet facecloth. Sure, I’ve always been fairly sensitive to products but I’ve never had an eye cream sting so badly!”
“This is the most awesome eye cream ever. It even works on your neck. It moisturizes AND firms.”
“This product is horrible! Gave me Milia under my eyes. This product has mineral oil in it which is very bad for facial skin and can cause pore blockages. Don’t waste your money.”

What do you think, Cupcake?
Look, some people ADORE Mary Kay products. They go on to sell them and live in pink Cadillac hog heaven.
Some people (like me) would rather spend the week with her mother-in-law and Matlock re-runs.
If you really must buy Mary Kay Timewise® Firming Eye Cream, buy from those websites that allow you to buy from sellers for cheap. Nudge, nudge, wink, wink.
It simply aint worth thirty green ones.
(Hope you were as entertained reading this as I was writing it. Yawn.)
