What is Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream?
Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream is an eye cream that promises to give you triple action. The triple action they promise consist of; hydrating and nourishing the delicate skin found in the eye area, increasing the microcirculation to reduce dark circles and puffiness and protecting the eye area with a light sunscreen. This paranben free complex is also ph neutral, cruelty free (in regards to animals) and is suitable for vegan use.
How does Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream work?
Like mentioned this cream is used as a triple action eye cream and uses 3 active ingredients to combat the 3 actions this cream promises.
- Evening Primrose Oil: meant to hydrate and nourish with linolenic acid and essential fatty acids.
- Ruscus extracts: gets the microcirculation going, which can be translated as to getting the blood flow around your eyes moving which helps with dark circles and puffiness.
- Zinc Oxide: this is a sun blocking ingredient used to protect the skin from damaging UVA and UVB rays.

“Did feel nice and did not sting, but did nothing for my dark circles”
“I found this to be moisturizing but was unable to use it long enough to see any results (although I do not have many wrinkles to work on at age 30). This was irritating and caused the skin to peel at the corners of my eyes. Also stung, burned and made my eyes water especially while wearing contacts. I do not recommend this for people with sensitive eyes/contact lens wearers.”
“I was disappointed in this product. I have older skin, so maybe it will work better on younger people, but I don’t like the zinc in the cream, as it smells like zinc and I don’t want white under my eyes. Not moisturizing enough for me, and it doesn’t do much tightening around the eye area.”
“I feel like I wasted my money on this cream. It didn’t brighten my under eye area at all. It was just a bit moisturizing, that’s it. I used it for only about a month. Now it’s just lying around, ready to be tossed out.”
“I have dark circles and no lines yet, and while I didn’t really see much of an improvement in the circles after a month of use, I still can say I really love how it feels. It makes the skin under my eyes really soft and not so dry. I’m keeping it, so hopefully I won’t get any lines or worsening circles.”

Should you buy Korres Evening Primrose Eye Cream?
I am so glad this eye cream has a sunscreen! Most eye creams forget this important element of common sense when it comes to skin care, granted most eye creams are intended to use at night but I personally know a lot of people who use their eye creams during the day, especially when they aren’t going to be wearing make-up. With how important sunscreens are to our aging and skin health, I would love to see more eye creams with sunscreen. Pat on the back for the Korres company for doing that, too bad it is only a 6 spf but at least it is a step in the right direction. Besides the sunscreen aspect to this cream I am not very impressed. The ingredients are kind of boring and the customer testimonials are pretty boring too. If you are in the market for a good eye cream, I suggest that you keep looking. Find something with more clinically proven ingredients and better reviews.
