What is Hyaluronic Acid Creme?
Have you ever wanted to wake up with younger and healthier looking skin? Well this cream made by the now solutions company says that they have come up with a facial moisturizer that can do that. That sounds pretty impressive but can they live up to those claims?
This night cream is made for mature and aging skin and promises results that include a reduction in fine lines and wrinkles, a smoother more hydrated complexion and skin that is nourished on a cellular level.
Those are some pretty impressive claims, let’s take a peek and see how this cream works.
How does Hyaluronic Acid Creme?
By the title alone you can get a pretty good idea of what may be the key ingredient in this cream… Yep, it is hyaluronic acid. To fully understand this night cream you need to understand hyaluronic acid and how exactly it works to promote healthier skin.
Hyaluronic acid is naturally found in our skin. It can hold up to 750-1000 times its weight in water and acts like a natural sponge, binding moisture to the skin, which make the skin naturally softer and much more hydrated. It also plays an important role in making collagen and elastin, which is what keeps the skin thick and youthful. As we age we lose the ability to make hyaluronic acid ourselves, so some men in white lab coats have figured out a way to make it in a lab and add it to our facial creams to give us back what we are losing naturally.
(Side note: The only problem with the men in the white coats making it vs us making it naturally is that sometimes the quality is lost due to trying to keep the cost low and even though it is hyaluronic acid, it is such poor quality that our skin doesn’t know how to use it and it will have no effect on the skin, so when you are purchasing a product with hyaluronic acid make sure it is a quality product with quality ingredients.)
This Hyaluronic Acid based night cream also has a variety of butters and oils that help add moisture and nutrients. Some of these include; Avocado Oil, Shea Butter, Mango Butter, and Jojoba Oil.
Hyaluronic Acid Creme Pros
- Said to work while you sleep
- Low price
- Hyaluronic Acid as the key ingredient
- Paraban Free
Hyaluronic Acid Creme Cons
- Not many reviews promoting this cream
- The cost makes me weary of the quality
- Made by a vitamin and supplement company
Should you buy Hyaluronic Acid Creme?
Nah.
I have to say that I think the cost on this cream shows the quality of hyaluronic acid in this cream. It is true that you get what you pay for. Hyaluronic acid is quite an impressive ingredient to use in your facial creams and can give you amazing results, but if you are using a cheap variation then it doesn’t even matter because your skin will not use it and the claims in the product are not able to be met.
I would suggest looking for a higher quality product that is made by people who know and love skin and skin care, not a product that comes from a vitamin company.
