Unless you are one of those very lucky women with naturally thick black eyelashes, I’m sure at one point or another, you have wished for longer, fuller eyelashes.  I know I do.  Everyday!  I even spend $25 on my mascara because it makes my lashes look fuller and longer than the less expensive brands.  I want those full black lashes so bad it’s actually worth the money to me.  I have read a lot about all these new products that claim to make your eyelashes grow fuller and longer but I haven’t tried any of them because they cost over $100.

RapidLash claims to give you the same long, thick lashes you have been dreaming about at a much lower price.  They promise fuller, longer, darker and even curlier lashes for only $49.95.

When it comes to my eyes, I don’t mess around.  As much as I would love to have fuller lashes, the health and safety of my eyes comes first.  Although a lot of these expensive lash enhances have good results, they also have major risks involved.  So my goal is to find out if RapidLash is effective but most importantly, if it is safe.

Is RapidLash Safe For My Eyes?

Here are the ingredients in RapidLash.  As you can see, most are safe but some of them are known to be irritating to the eyes.  I am glad to see that RapidLash is made paraben and fragrance free.

1. Rhizobian Gum and Sodium Hyaluronate moisturize and condition the lashes.
2. Polypeptides prevent lashes from breaking.
3. Vitamins and Proteins replenish and strengthen the lashes.
4. Panthanol is a form of vitamin B5 that is naturally hydrating.  However, it has been known to irritate the eyes.
5. Chlorphenisen is used in mascaras and other skin care products due to its anti-fungal and anti-baterial properties. However, it has been known to cause irritation and dermatitis.
6. Phenoxyethanol is a preservative produced by combining derived coal tar with ethylene oxide.  It is commonly used in mascaras for its anti-fungal properties.  However, it is known to cause irritation.

Is RapidLash Worth Buying?

Okay, let’s start with the safety issues.  Although RapidLash claims to be paraben free, it is not preservative free.  In fact, RapidLash is full of potentially harmful and irritating ingredients.  The thing is, most of these same ingredients are found in the mascara that we apply to our lashes everyday.  They may be a risk but most likely won’t cause your eyes any problems.

So is RapidLash effective?  RapidLash has mainly positive customer reviews.  Most customers claimed fuller and healthier eyelashes in 4 weeks.  The only catch is that you have to keep using RapidLash to maintain results.

If you want to pay under $100 for an eyelash enhancer, RapidLash is your best bet.  It is also one of the safest options.  However, I would definitely use this product with extreme caution.
