Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream
Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream in a glance
“Eye Cream in a glance”–ha, ha, ha. That’s kinda puny.
Ahem.
Never mind.
You remember all those years you went sunbathing and forgot sunscreen and sunglasses? Yeah. Well unfortunately you’ve hit mid-life–and the crisis is the matrix of lines around your eyes. They resemble a complicated road map.
Not to worry, there are eye creams out there to help reduce some of that damage so you can go out in public without those sunglasses that you finally remember to wear. (Only these days they’re for cover-up purposes, not to prevent skin damage.)

What is Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream?
It’s an anti-wrinkle eye cream that contains technology to keep it working all day long (although I believe that part is simply clever marketing.) It does contain retinol so should not be used without sunscreen.
How does Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream work?
Here are the active ingredients that make Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream results possible:
- Retinol SA-retinol is one of the best top-rated and clinically proven skin care ingredients out there. It’s a potent form of vitamin A that dives beneath the skin to the lower epidermis, working to repair free radical damage on a cellular level. It also boosts collagen and elastin production, plumping the eye area and making it look more youthful. Neutrogena doesn’t explain the “SA” technology, only that is sustains the retinol’s effectiveness so it works all day. I don’t really buy it–but this is a good ingredient anyway.
- Glucose Complex-allegedly boosts the effectiveness of Retinol SA and speeds up the results. I don’t buy this either.
- Hyaluronic Acid-another excellent and clinically proven ingredient that plumps up the skin with increased collagen and elastin product. It also hydrates, replenishes, brightens and replenishes skin. Dark circles? Hyaluronic acid may significantly decrease them.

“This is the easiest eye cream to put on and I have tried many. It also seems to make my lines almost disappear.”
“Please buy this product!!! I’m 41 and blessed with good skin and I have tried numerous expensive eye creams but this is by far the best! It soaks in and leaves the eye area visibly smooth from first application!! It’s inexpensive and gets a thumb’s up from me !!!”
“I did see an immediate reduction in the visibility of wrinkles around my eyes. Not completely erased, but noticeable. Impressive!”
“Wow!! After trying dozens of eye creams ranging from semi to very expensive, I’ve finally found one that actually works. I had this fine line around one of my eyes and after using this for about a month, it’s barely noticeable. Even though it contains Retinol, it does NOT dry out the skin around the eye, as opposed to other creams that do. I’m sticking to this for as long as Neutrogena continues to make it.”

Should you buy Neutrogena Rapid Wrinkle Repair Eye Cream?
Based on testimonials I have to say “why not?” It’s cheap at $20.99 and consumers do nothing but rant on about how good it is. In fact, I’m off to buy my own. (My husband’s gonna love that. ANOTHER skin care product in the bathroom and money out of the bank.)
If it doesn’t work, I can alway use it for the tops of my hands. That’s where most of my skin care ‘epic fails’ go–and my hands look lovely!
Good luck!
