Clinique All About Eyes is an anti-aging gel cream that promises to diminish the appearance of fine lines, puffiness and dark circles around the eyes.   It also claims to help hold makeup in place and keep it from seeping or smudging.  It is fragrance free, allergy tested and ophthalmologist tested.  It can be applied morning and night and is safe for all skin types.

How Does Clinique All About Eyes Work?

As you know, Clinique All About Eyes claims to reduce the appearance of our fine lines, puffiness and dark circles.  However, they don’t say exactly how it will do all those things.  They also don’t list any of their ingredients.  That doesn’t give me a whole lot to base my opinion off of!  So the next step is to check customer reviews.

I read A LOT of customer reviews.  Sadly, it seems that most customers felt that Clinique All About Eyes is just an average eye cream.  Most customers felt that it did wear well under makeup and didn’t cause any smudging or seeping.  However, they also claimed to see no improvement in their fine lines, dark circles or puffiness.  They also said that although the eye cream goes on nicely it doesn’t keep the skin hydrated either.  If I had to base my opinion off of customer review alone (which I kind of do) I’d say this is just your average eye cream.

Would I buy this eye cream?  Nope!  Here’s why:  First, they do not list their ingredients online.  So many customers do their shopping online and deserve to know what is in the product before they buy it.  Second, the customer review are only average.  Most customers claimed the product did wear well under make up but saw no improvement in their fine lines, puffiness or dark circles.  They also felt that Clinique All About Eyes did not moisturize.  Lastly, this eye cream is not preservative free which is a pre-requisite for me to recommend an eye cream.

Preservatives are SO bad for our skin and especially the skin around our eyes.  They are full of irritants, allergens and unnecessary chemicals.  They can potentially the cause of dry skin, breakouts, and dermatitis.  I wouldn’t use any facial product that contains preservatives, especially an eye cream.

So I’d keep looking.  There are so many amazing eye creams out there.  HERE are some products I would recommend.
