Glycerin is actually commonly used in foods as a sweetener. So that kind of makes me question it’s validity as a powerful skin care agent. Although Glycerin is also sometimes used in cosmetics and shampoos there is no research or even studies to support it’s ability to heal mature skin or sooth thinning skin.
